One of Ellie the Wienerdog and Author K.J. Hales favorite things to do is be a part of a wonderful event where they have the opportunity to make new friends, connect with Ellie’s fans and share in the fun that new sights, sounds and smells bring to them. Whether it be a wine festival (one of K.J.’s favorites), a local parade or street fair, or a classroom visit there is no doubt these are the special moments they cherish doing together. That’s why they are very excited to invite you to stop by and see them at Booth 26 this Sunday, October 1st for the Orange County Children’s Book Festival in Costa Mesa, California. This will be a paws-on opportunity for people to not only meet the real life Ellie the Wienerdog, who has inspired the children’s book series, Life’s Little Lessons, but also pick up a “Pawtographed” copy of her books and have their picture taken with the star herself.
What is the Orange County Children’s Book Festival?
The 14th Orange County Children’s Book Festival is a fun family festival that celebrates the joy of children’s media. This year’s festivities will have over 125 authors, more than 25 illustrators, dozens of storytellers and great family-oriented entertainers. Exhibitors include children’s book stores, educational supply stores, authors, illustrators, literacy organizations, schools and more. Attendees number well over 25,000 every year.
When and where is the event?
This free event occurs on Sunday, October 1st, 2017. It starts at 9:30am and ends at 4:30pm. It is located at Orange Coast College located at 2701 Fairview Rd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. K.J. and Ellie will be hanging out at Booth #26 so please stop on by and raise a paw in greeting.
